Lateral force resisting system must document shear walls, drag struts, collectors, diaphragm, nailing schedule, and hold-downs. Truss Submittals

Any manmade decorative water feature greater than 18 inches of maximum water depth must meet full swimming pool requirements. Features 18 inches or under on single-family residential property for exclusive family use are exempt.

Pool Safety Barriers

The Las Vegas Valley Water District limits the total combined water surface area of new swimming pools, spas, and water features on a single-family residential parcel to a maximum of 600 square feet. LVVWD must approve all pool/spa permits prior to CLV permit issuance.

Contractor must remove all sediment, mud, and debris from public ROW daily. Temporary or permanent stabilization must be installed within 14 days after construction ceases. Sewer Connection Requirement

New development must connect to public sewer whenever available within 400 feet of the nearest property line and reachable by gravity. For subdivisions with 5+ single-family units, connection required when sewer is within (units Γ— 100 ft). As of January 1, 2021, LVVWD will refuse potable water service to new development discharging to a septic tank.

All traffic signal work requires an IMSA Level II Certified Technician on site. Approved controllers: Swarco McCain Flex or Econolite Cobalt with D4 software.
